Job description

We are looking for a Commercial HVAC Installer and Lead Installer Our ideal candidate would have 3-10 years of experience in the HVAC industry.

Commercial HVAC Installer Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute full-cycle installation of commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, split systems, and mini systems in new construction environments.
  • Install and hang ductwork (spiral, rectangular, and flex) according to engineered blueprints and local codes.
  • Install refrigerant lines and basic low-voltage wiring.
  • Oversee on-site apprentices, ensuring work meets company quality standards and safety requirements.

Commercial HVAC Installer Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3–10 years of dedicated commercial HVAC installation experience.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced sheet metal fabrication and field-modification skills; ability to read and interpret complex mechanical blueprints.
  • Tools: Must possess a full suite of hand and power tools relevant to the trade (meters, manifolds, cordless kits, etc.).
  • Soft Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively with project managers and other trades on-site.
  • Physical: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work from ladders/scaffolds, and operate in various weather conditions.
