Job Overview

The Opportunity You will play a foundational role in the installation of large-scale commercial refrigeration systems, turning technical blueprints into high-performance mechanical reality. This position offers the chance to work with a legendary 40-year-old family business where your precision in brazing and piping directly impacts the reliability of essential food and medical supply chains.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Execute high-quality brazing and soft soldering of copper lines to ensure leak-proof refrigeration circuits.
  • Install and secure essential system components including blowers, air handlers, and condensing unit racks.
  • Route and connect copper and PVC drain lines from equipment to designated discharge points.
  • Conduct rigorous pressure testing on newly installed lines to verify system integrity before startup.
  • Manage the safe unloading and staging of heavy refrigeration equipment at various commercial job sites.
  • Collaborate with the startup team to ensure all piping meets the technical specifications for system activation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical pipe fitting or refrigeration installation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in brazing and soft soldering copper piping.
  • Ability to lift, move, and install heavy refrigeration equipment and blowers.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
