Experienced Garage Door Technician / Senior-Lead Technician

Redneck Doors – Lawton, OK

Redneck Doors is seeking an experienced Garage Door Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated professional with strong technical skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

A minimum of three (3) years of garage door installation and service experience is required.

Management, supervisory, or leadership experience is preferred but not required. This position offers advancement opportunities for individuals who demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and a desire to help develop and mentor other technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, service, and install residential and commercial garage door systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
  • Replace springs, cables, rollers, hinges, tracks, operators, and related components.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
  • Accurately document work performed, materials used, and customer communications.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and estimates.
  • Maintain company vehicles maintenance schedule.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Assist with training and mentoring less experienced technicians as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of garage door industry experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of residential and commercial garage door systems.
  • Experience with garage doors, garage door openers, torsion spring systems, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to safely lift and handle garage door materials and equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.
  • Leadership or management experience is a plus but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading crews or overseeing projects.
  • Ability to train and mentor technicians.
  • Experience using Service Titan or similar field service software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
