About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse / Dock Supervisor to lead daily dock operations and ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of goods. This role is a mix of floor leadership and administrative coordinationโ€”youโ€™ll spend time both on the dock and in the office driving performance, safety, and inventory accuracy.

This role requires coverage across 6 days per week, with flexibility to work all 6 days as needed. Opportunities may exist to optimize scheduling and reduce total hours based on internal workflow adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily dock operations, including workflow, scheduling, and team assignments
  • Supervise and support Hi-Lo (forklift) operators to ensure safe and efficient material handling
  • Monitor loading/unloading activities to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with procedures
  • Conduct inventory checks, cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure proper product handling, labeling, pallet configuration, and storage (FIFO)
  • Inspect inbound/outbound shipments and trailers for quality and safety standards
  • Identify and correct damaged materials, pallets, or packaging
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and enforce safety standards at all times
  • Review and manage key documentation (Get Tickets, Ship Scans, Move Sheets, Adjustment Sheets)
  • Support month-end inventory and reporting activities
  • Train, coach, and evaluate team members, including performance reviews
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety, quality, and operational policies

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of warehouse experience, including forklift (Hi-Lo) operation
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or dock environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with warehouse systems
  • Ability to step in as backup for Traffic or Warehouse Supervisor when needed
