Job Summary
The Red Hat Training and Certification team is looking for a Training Solution Architect to join our team. In this role, you will support customer success and the landing, adoption, expansion, and renewal of our subscription-based open source offerings. You'll work with our Training and Certification sales and delivery teams to scope and outline strategic programs that address our customers' workforce training needs. As a Training Architect, you will have the opportunity to use your technical expertise and understanding of the challenges that our customers are facing, and help to address those challenges through our industry-leading training and certification program.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with local sales and technical delivery teams to bring our customers the best solutions from the Red Hat Training and Certification portfolios
  • Discover and analyze customer business and technical problems; apply appropriate Red Hat's solutions to address customer needs
  • Provide presales technical support for the development and implementation of complex services and solutions
  • Provide trusted innovative thinking internally and with our customers
  • Use deep knowledge of the solutions and the industry to provide technical expertise to sales associates and customers through sales presentations and demonstrations of our offerings; prepare detailed specifications for our offerings
  • Follow standard practices and procedures for analyzing situations or data
  • Organize, develop, and deliver enablement training around Red Hat technologies (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Red Hat OpenShift, etc.) to counterparts in sales, presales, and consulting
  • Help build programs around Red Hat technical training with pre and post-requisite training curriculums
  • Help organize chat sessions, help channels, and other mediums to support question and answer for customers being trained up on Red Hat technical content
  • Work alongside Red Hat sales, marketing, and consulting covering the Red Hat account team to integrate a training and enablement strategy into their selling and go-to-market plans
  • Collaborate with other internal Training and Certification teams such as Global Training Go-To-Market, Global Enablement, Product and Technical Learning, and Certification to stay up to date on new products and initiatives, provide feedback, and represent NA interests from an internal and customer perspective

Required Skills
  • 4+ years of experience working in sales engineering, consulting, IT architecture, or equivalent technical experience supporting strategic accounts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; record of developing relationships at engineering, program management, and executive levels
  • Experience working with modern development practices like DevOps or continuous integration (CI)
  • Knowledge of and experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of and experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
  • Knowledge of and experience with enterprise solutions and architectures, understanding of how different infrastructure elements like virtualization, private cloud, public cloud, bare metal servers, etc work together and how Red Hat's products fit in that model
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or other Red Hat Certifications are a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

The salary range for this position is $118,600.00 - $195,680.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
