Job description

The National Account Manager (NAM) for Mass eCommerce executes Red Bull strategies online at key retailers across pickup and delivery platforms. The role is responsible for infusing an entrepreneurial mindset into account management of fast growing and strategic customers. Your mission is to ensure Red Bull is the #1 choice for the digtal shopper by mastering search, availability, and innovative digital programming. The role will take close partners internally with Brick & Morter Sales, Operations, Finance and Marketing to achieve success.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • STRATEGIC BUSINESS PLANNING & EXECUTION
    Executes short- and long-term strategies and activities that deliver Red Bull and retailer objectives online.
    Allocates resources where the investment has the highest strategic payback.
    Partner with Red Bull Key Account, Advertising & Retail Marketing teams to influence eCommerce priorities across these retailers.
    Responsible for programming online calendar (including pricing and promotions), driving onsite visibility, volume planning, and managing trade spend.
    Partner with Retail Media teams to deploy high-impact advertising spend, ensuring a strong ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
    Collaboratively develop and execute annual joint business plans that outpace category growth
    Actively develop and cultivate relationships with Retail Buying, Instock, and Site Merchandising teams
    Work closely with demand planning and supply teams to navigate retailer fulfillment models to ensure zero out-of-stocks
  • ESTABLISH CATEGORY LEADERSHIP
    Enhance online execution on Retailer.com and in the Retailer Apps by collaboratively working to ensure best in class content, copy, media, and imagery online.
    In partnership with cross-functional teams, develop category and shopper insights for eCommerce beverage and energy drink categories to support online execution.
    Identify and share best practices to reach new online shoppers and bring to life the Red Bull brand across online customers.
  • BUSINESS REVIEWS & REPORTING
    Responsible for eCommerce sales and share reporting to measure impact of initiatives on performance.
    Conduct quarterly business reviews to measure progress against sales and financial targets and provide competitive analysis.
    Drives post-campaign analysis following all promotions and visibility campaigns to evaluate effectiveness and optimize investment opportunities.
    Provide energy insights that influence merchandising, price, and promotion to achieve business targets.
    Proactively shares examples of Red Bull Marketing activities to differentiate vs. competition.
  • CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PARTNERSHIP
    Work with Red Bull Key Account teams to upskill eCommerce knowledge and ensure business plan objectives align with Red Bull eCommerce and Key Account strategies.
    Accountable for managing cross-functional work streams to deliver unique solutions, in close partnership with key stakeholders including Finance, Ops, Retail Marketing, Shopper Insights & Advertising.
    Build upon the eCommerce learning agenda by leveraging new customer account capabilities and data to find opportunities for future revenue and/or brand marketing opportunities.
    Uses appropriate communication processes to keep DPs informed of relevant eCommerce programs and initiatives.

EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
  • 8 years eCommerce account management experience preferably with experience leading strategic planning across teams and Brick & Click
  • Experience in beverage, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), or FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industries preferred
  • Experience working with Digital Advertising Agencies
  • Ability to demonstrate solid "peer leadership/influence"
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources
  • Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and active listening skills
  • Advanced strategic thinking, planning, financial management, decision-making, sales presentation, & negotiation skills
  • Innovative, solution-oriented mindset and ability to drive collaboration across diverse functional groups to achieve goals
  • Passion to make significant contributions to the Red Bull organization through continuous process & ways of working improvement
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong conceptual thinking and design critiquing skills
  • Must be extremely proficient in software packages (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) & internal systems (CPM, SAP/BI)
