Duties
Help
  • Serve as Program Integrator (PI) for a highly complex Department of Defense (DoD) weapons system program such as a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) and/or Special Access Program (SAP).
  • Represent the Contract Management Office (CMO) as the single point of contact to the buying commands for the most complex complete major weapons systems, defined as MDAP.
  • Provide technical guidance regarding the total program execution, evaluation and reporting of complex reviews regarding a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) program's cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Perform predictive analysis of an overall independent contractual/program Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimated Completion Date (ECD).
  • Serve as principal civilian technical advisor to the CMO Commander on matters relating to the Program Management across all functions relating to the management of the program.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Program Manager (Integrator), your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
  • Providing comprehensive oversight and direction for multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Leading a multi-functional team, including but not limited to, Engineers, Quality Assurance Technicians, Industrial Specialists, Software Specialists, and Contracting personnel.
  • Applying acquisition strategy principles and methods to ensure success of comprehensive, integrated acquisition management programs.
  • Evaluating contractor compliance against program requirements based on contractual agreement(s) and strategic goals.

Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
