Operations Manager / Market Leader – Home Care

Location: Polk County, Florida (Lakeland & Winter Haven)

Schedule: Full-Time, Exempt

Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000 Base Salary + Bonus Opportunity of Up to 15%


Our client, one of the nation's most respected home care organizations, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager / Market Leader to oversee and grow its Polk County territory.


This is not a traditional operations management role.

Lead an Entire Market

This position carries full operational responsibility for the Polk County business, including revenue growth, profitability, client satisfaction, employee engagement, and overall operational success.


Full P&L Responsibility

The Operations Manager has complete profit-and-loss responsibility for the business unit, overseeing revenue growth, expense management, staffing performance, and financial results while driving accountability through KPIs and operational scorecards.


Highly Visible Community Leadership

Approximately 80% of your time is spent leading operations in the office, while 20% is spent in the field building relationships with referral partners, clients, caregivers, and community organizations.


Develop Future Leaders

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop office staff and caregivers
  • Create a culture of accountability, ownership, professionalism, and exceptional service
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance
  • Play a key role in all hiring decisions for the leadership team
  • Identify and develop future leaders within the organization
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 10 years of combined verifiable professional experience
  • Preferred minimum of 3 years with each employer, demonstrating stability and leadership growth
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership and management experience
  • Proven operational management experience
  • Experience hiring, coaching, developing, and leading high-performing teams
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to lead through growth, change, and continuous improvement
  • Experience utilizing KPIs, scorecards, and performance metrics to drive accountability
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
