Job description

Cubist Systematic Strategies, an affiliate of Point72, deploys systematic, computer‑driven trading strategies across multiple liquid asset classes, including equities, futures and foreign exchange. The core of our effort is rigorous research into a wide range of market anomalies, fueled by our unparalleled access to a wide range of publicly available data sources.

What you’ll do
  • Work with our Head of Discretionary Macro and internal recruiters to assist in the full recruitment process, including scheduling, process management, and new hire onboarding.
  • Interface with candidates, third‑party vendors, and internal colleagues to schedule phone, video conference, and onsite interviews.
  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience with timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Actively maintain and track candidate pipelines and feedback in our internal recruiting database.
  • Liaise with business stakeholders to collect feedback and identify next steps for candidates.
  • Provide updates to hiring managers and candidates on the recruitment processes.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with candidates.
  • Work closely with the recruiting team to improve the recruitment processes and best practices.
What’s Required
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience involving problem solving, multi‑tasking, and prioritization in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to interpret context, tone, and feedback effectively.

The annual base salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
