Job description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This role involves working with dogs and cats in a well-established small animal practice, delivering comprehensive care within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes a broad range of general practice responsibilities, including wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. Daily duties involve routine exams, managing medical cases, performing surgical procedures including soft tissue surgery and dentistry, and delivering preventative care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, and is suited to someone who enjoys both medical and surgical cases while contributing to a collaborative and evolving team environment.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Saturday from 8:00am to 4:30pm and is closed on Sundays. It is equipped with digital and dental radiography, in-house laboratories, and echocardiogram capabilities, supporting a wide range of diagnostic and treatment services. Services offered include preventative care, diagnostic care, surgical services including advanced procedures, dental care, internal medicine, holistic treatments including acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapies, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, and an on-site pharmacy. The practice utilizes digital records and modern client tools, and emphasizes a culture of communication, collaboration, and high-quality patient care within a long-established community setting.

Team
