Location: Onsite, Bellevue, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (PST) or 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (PST)

About the Role: Universal Language Service, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and professional Bilingual Customer Service amp; Language Specialist (Russian) join our team. This dual-role position combines real-time over-the-phone and video remote interpretation (OPI/VRI) services with administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Key Responsibilities:
Interpretation amp; Customer Support • Deliver real-time OPI/VRI interpretation services in Russian and English • Assist interpreters with completing and updating profiles and documentation • Follow up with interpreters to ensure records are current and compliant • Maintain clear and professional communication with interpreters and internal teams • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and accuracy • Coordinate interpreter assignments, efficiently manage schedules, and ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of client requests • Maintain interpreter account records, updating information related to assignments, availability, and billing accurately • Proactively troubleshoot scheduling issues, providing timely and effective solutions
Requirements: • Strong bilingual proficiency in English and Russian • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage administrative documentation • Ability to work full-time, on-site (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST or 8:30 AM–5:30 PM PST) • Prior interpretation experience preferred • Medical DSHS or national interpreter certification/qualification (e.g. NBCMI, CCHI, Other) is a plus (support provided for those seeking DSHS Medical recognition)
Education amp; Professional Background: • Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Human Resources, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in customer service, scheduling, recruiting, onboarding, interpretation, or translation
Work Environment amp; Screening Requirements: • This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Bellevue, WA corporate office • Remote work is not permitted • Candidates must pass a full-panel drug and alcohol screening and a national criminal background check
Compensation: • Up to $25 per hour, depending on qualifications and relevant experience • Full benefits package available, including medical insurance
