Here's what you'll be doing:
- Oversee the planning, design, and construction of current and future FCPC Government road, bridge, walking path, trail, community parks, and open space projects through both internal and outsourced contracted.
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of internal feasibility studies, comprehensive plans, and proposals.
- Develop and implement recreational programs that promote the health, safety, and well-being of the FCPC Tribal Community.
- Collaborate with the Grants Department, FCP DOT Director, Roads Program Manager, and Facilities Director on grant writing and grant administration.
- Assist with the implementation and management of an ArcGIS based asset management system for roads, bridges, walking paths, trails, community parks, and open spaces.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and governmental partners and lead public engagement meetings and related processes.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Landscape Architecture, Project Management or related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of related experience required, (10) years of related experience preferred
- Professional Engineer's or Professional Landscape Architect's license preferred.
- Experience in contracting, contract oversight, project management, and grant writing.
- Experience reviewing civil designs, understanding construction requirements, and managing assets and maintenance operations.
- Ability to travel periodically to conferences and meetings some out of state travel.
- Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens
