Job Summary
Under the general direction of the RecPlex General Manager, the Recreation Coordinator plans, develops, implements and evaluates a variety of camps, clinics, leagues and recreation programs for participants of all ages. This position recruits, trains and supervises seasonal and intermittent program staff; coordinates instructors, contractors and community partners; monitors program budgets, supplies and registration trends; and serves as a primary point of contact for participants and families. The Recreation Coordinator also provides on-site program leadership, responds to customer and participant concerns, and makes independent operational decisions as needed in a fast-paced, multi-use sports and recreation facility.
