Job DescriptionRecreation Assistant, Full-Time (40 hours/week)
 Must be flexible and available to work weekends and evenings

We’re looking for a creative and compassionate Recreation Assistant/Activities Assistant to help plan and lead engaging programs for residents in our 35-apartment Memory Care Neighborhood. Bring your energy, empathy, and imagination to a team that makes every day meaningful for our seniors.

Responsibilites

  • Plan, organize, and lead group and one-on-one activities.
  • Encourage resident participation to promote social, emotional, and cognitive wellness.
  • Assist with outings, celebrations, and special events.
  • Prepare and decorate common areas for holidays and themed activities.
  • Support the Memory Care Activity Director and other team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in assisted living or long-term care working with memory care residents preferred.
  • Compassionate, energetic, and creative personality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings for planned activity events.
