We're seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support daily operations, lead the housekeeping team, and ensure our rooms and public spaces consistently meet brand standards.
About the Role
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper supports the Executive Housekeeper in supervising staff, coordinating daily assignments, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for every guest. This role is ideal for someone who leads by example, communicates clearly, and thrives in a fast-paced hotel setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing daily housekeeping operations, including room attendants, public area attendants, and laundry staff
  • Conduct room inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance reporting, and brand-standard compliance.
  • Support scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management for housekeeping team members
  • Help manage inventory of linens, supplies, and chemicals; ensure proper usage and storage
  • Coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance to prioritize room turns, stayovers, and service recovery needs
  • Uphold safety and sanitation standards, including proper chemical handling and OSHA compliance
  • Step in to support cleaning tasks during high-occupancy periods or staffing shortages
  • Assist with onboarding new team members and reinforcing service expectations
  • Maintain a positive, professional work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping leadership experience required (hotel experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, room inspection procedures, and safety protocols
