• Conduct thorough and empathetic assessments of clients' psychosocial needs, focusing on emotional, mental, and social factors affecting their recovery.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families, ensuring that their specific goals and preferences are prioritized.
• Provide direct counseling and emotional support, helping clients navigate the complex challenges associated with addiction recovery.
• Advocate for clients, assisting them in accessing community resources and services vital to their treatment and long-term recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in regular team meetings and case discussions, offering insights and recommendations to enhance service delivery and patient care.

Your primary focus will be individuals seeking detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. You will work closely with clients experiencing various challenges, including mental health issues, homelessness, and family dynamics, ensuring that their needs are holistically addressed as part of their recovery journey.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of experience in a relevant social work role, particularly within a clinical, community, or detox environment.
• Extensive knowledge of social work principles, the impact of substance use disorders, and available community resources.
• Exceptional proficiency in assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention strategies.

• Experience working with detox patients or individuals within the spectrum of addiction recovery.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, enhancing the efficiency of client documentation and care coordination.
• Skills in using evidence-based practice methods to guide therapy and interventions.
