Job description

The Security Records Manager will oversee the records management program for Space Systems Command, including the Official File Plan. This position creates and reviews file plans, coordinates approvals and visits, and manages official electronic files in AFRIMS. This position provides guidance and ensure compliance with AFIs and ADMANs. This position acts as an alternative to the Security Specialist. This full-time position will be 100% onsite at Schriever SBF.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • The ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Secret level.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assigns and assumes the responsibilities of Office Records Manager (ORM) in accordance with AFI33.322, Records Management Program and be the point of contact for and monitor the Records Management program and corresponding Official File Plan.
  • Acts as a backup alternative to the Security Specialist.
  • Creates and reviews office file plans, assist in preparing files maintenance and disposition plans.
  • Coordinates all approvals and Staff Assisted Visits with the SSC Det 5 Unit Records Manager (URM).
  • Responsible for maintaining, staging, and disposing official electronic files in the Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS).
  • Provides Records Management guidance and assistance.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable AFIs and AFMANs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree and a minimum of four (4) years relevant experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic

The estimated pay range for this role is $50K to $54K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
