Job description

Medical Records Representative plays an integral role in helping our clients achieve the best possible results pertaining to their cases.
Medical Records Representative is responsible for requesting medicals records, making follow up calls to medical providers and coordinating payments for medical records. Responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail and maintaining closed client files.
• Request medical records pursuant to client requests
• Make follow up calls to medical providers regarding status of medical records requests
• Process outgoing mail for the firm for pick-up and delivery to the mailbox/post office
• Receive all incoming mail and forward it to Document Processing Department
• Coordinate payments for medical record
• Maintain closed client files
• Effectively utilize case management software to manage workload, document all work, case expenses and payments, and communicate with firm employees
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience.
Experience working documents both paper and in electronic format.
