Job Title-MRP Planner Location: Waynesboro, PA 17268
Contract Duration: 6 months, with possible extension

Pay Rate $21/h to $25/h Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MRP Planner to support production planning, inventory control, scheduling, and material replenishment activities in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MRP systems, production scheduling, inventory monitoring, and shortage management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run and review MRP processes and manage inventory replenishment orders.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on forecasts and production requirements.
  • Review daily material shortages and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Monitor critical inventory items to support uninterrupted production.
  • Prepare reports related to production, inventory, and critical materials.
  • Maintain accurate equipment and production records.
  • Support production planning, inventory control, and scheduling activities.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and related teams to address material and scheduling issues.
Required Qualifications
  • 2 3 years of shop/manufacturing experience.
  • 1 2 years of Production Control / PC Planner experience.
  • 1 2 years of production scheduling experience.
  • Hands-on experience with MRP systems, including reviewing MRP runs and managing replenishment.
  • Experience monitoring inventory shortages and critical inventory items.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook/Email.
  • Experience with Lotus or an equivalent spreadsheet application.
  • Ability to prepare production and critical-item reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Associate degree in Business, Production & Inventory Control, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Environment

This is primarily a manufacturing/shop environment. The role requires occasional standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
