Federal contract opportunity

URGENTLY seeking experienced Medical Support Assistants (MSAs) for a long-term federal healthcare opportunity supporting the VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Washington State.

Position Summary:The Medical Support Assistant (MSA) will provide administrative and scheduling support within a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role supports patient care operations by coordinating appointments, managing patient information, assisting with community care consults, and delivering excellent customer service to veterans and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patient appointments and manage clinic calendars
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally
  • Update and maintain patient demographic and insurance information
  • Process community care consults and referrals
  • Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records
  • Assist patients, providers, and staff with scheduling and administrative support

Qualifications:

  • Required to send Professional references
  • Previous healthcare administrative, medical support, or scheduling experience required
  • Experience in medical office, hospital, clinic, or VA environment preferred
  • Experience with medical scheduling systems, CPRS, or EHR systems preferred
  • Ability to handle high-volume scheduling and administrative tasks
  • Must be able to pass VA background/security clearance requirements
  • Must be able to complete fingerprinting, credentialing, and onboarding requirements
