Job description

Program overview
We're looking for motivated, culturally engaged interns to join our team in one of two tracks: Digital or Marketing. This is a hands-on, mentorship-driven program designed to teach how an independent label builds campaigns, grows audiences, and discovers new artists.
What you'll get
  • Weekly check-ins + mentorship from label staff
  • Exposure to real release cycles (planning → launch → analysis)
  • A supervised capstone project (end-of-term presentation)

Note: This internship is structured as an educational experience with close supervision and defined learning goals.
Tracks
Digital Intern (Track)
You'll learn: how labels build attention and community on short-form platforms.
You'll do (with supervision):
  • Support content calendars and posting workflows
  • Pitch short-form concepts for TikTok/Reels/Shorts
  • Track performance metrics and summarize learnings
  • Research creators, trends, and partnership opportunities

Ideal for: people who live on the internet (in a good way) and can articulate why something is spreading.
Marketing Intern (Track)
You'll learn: how release campaigns are planned, packaged, and measured.
You'll do (with supervision):
  • Support campaign timelines, rollout planning, and asset organization
  • Research comps, fan/audience insights, and culture moments relevant to releases
  • Help assemble internal decks and post-campaign recaps
  • Assist with coordination across creative, digital, and distribution

Ideal for: organized, creative candidates who love music storytelling.
Qualifications (all tracks)
  • Strong interest in music, culture, and emerging artists
  • Excellent organization + clear communication
  • Proactive, collaborative, and reliable
  • Familiarity with Spotify/Apple Music + TikTok/Instagram/YouTube tools

Bonus: CapCut/Premiere/Final Cut, Canva/Adobe, writing, playlisting, DJing/producing, participation in music communities.
