Job description

Founded in 1994, A to Z Media is a family-owned company specializing in Vinyl, CD, DVD, Promotional Product and Apparel, and Manufacturing Services. For over 30 years, we have been committed to delivering exceptional customer service, high-quality products, and competitive pricing for our global clientele. We work closely with clients to provide bespoke manufacturing solutions, including special printing, packaging, production, and logistical support. Our clients range from indie labels and branding agencies to distributors and Fortune 500 companies. At A to Z Media, we pride ourselves on being a true partner in bringing creative visions to life.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and deeply connected Procurement and Pricing Manager to lead and elevate our global supply chain operations. In this role, you will be the architect of our vendor ecosystem, managing everything from legacy relationships to the onboarding of new partners.

The core focus of this role is building and owning our pricing intelligence function — from supplier-level cost benchmarking to internal pricing governance — ensuring sourcing decisions are backed by rigorous, comparative price data.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to maximize existing contracts and ensure we maintain a highly strategic, resilient, and cost-effective global network of vendors across all core product streams—including music formats, merchandise and with emphasis on print and bespoke packaging.

Responsibilities
  • Vendor Management and Strategic Sourcing
    • -Optimize the Network - evaluate, refine, and manage a strategic network of vendors across all product streams: Vinyl, CD, Cassettes, Print, Bespoke Packaging, Stickers, Merchandise, Books and Apparel
    • -Relationship Management - cultivate and maximize long-term relationships with existing vendors to ensure priority capacity, favorable terms, and top-tier quality
    • -Onboarding & Diversity - identify, vet, and onboard new, innovative vendors to mitigate supply chain risks, increase capacity, and drive competitive pricing
    • -Global Resilience - ensure the vendor network is geographically and operationally diversified to protect against market disruptions (especially in high-demand sectors like vinyl pressing)
  • Internal Collaboration and Strategy
    • -Stakeholder Alignment - partner with internal teams (Product Management, Design, Operations, and Finance) to understand upcoming pipelines, forecasting needs, and creative requirements
    • -Bespoke Execution - work hand-in-hand with creative teams to source and deliver complex, high-end bespoke packaging concepts on time and within budget
    • -Cost & Margin Optimization - lead contract and price negotiations to maximize margins without compromising on product quality or ethical standards
  • Processes and Reporting
    • -Develop and implement standardized KPIs for vendor performance (on-time delivery, defect rates, lead times)
    • -Streamline procurement workflows, from initial RFQs to final purchase orders
    • -Provide regular reporting to executive leadership on supply chain health, cost savings, and capacity risks
  • Pricing Strategy and Analysis
    • -Comparative Price Benchmarking - build and maintain a live pricing matrix across all vendor categories (vinyl, CD, print, packaging, apparel) to enable apples-to-apples comparisons across a diverse supplier base
    • -Cost Modeling - develop cost-driver models for each product stream (e.g., per-unit vinyl pressing cost by run size, color complexity, weight) to identify negotiation leverage points and flag outlier vendor pricing
    • -Negotiation Strategy & Execution - lead structured price negotiations using data-backed benchmark
    • -Internal Pricing Governance: establish and own an internal pricing review cadence where vendor quotes are logged, compared, and validated against historical and market benchmarks
    • -Price Variance Reporting - track and report price drift over time by vendor and category, proactively surfacing cost creep
    • -Pricing Standardization - create standardized templates that force like-for-like pricing responses from vendors, making cross-supplier comparison faster and more defensible
Experience and Qualifications

Candidates must have direct, proven experience managing Procurement and Purchasing, ideally within the entertainment, music, publishing, or high-volume merchandise industries. NetSuite experience is required.

  • -Deep Domain Expertise - in-depth knowledge of production processes, cost drivers, and key global suppliers for:
    • - Physical Music Media - Vinyl pressing (including specialty/color variants) and CD manufacturing
    • - Print and Packaging - commercial print, rigid boxes, gatefolds, and custom/bespoke structural packaging
    • - Merchandise: apparel manufacturing (screen printing, embroidery, blanks), stickers, and custom promo goods
  • -Negotiation Mastery - proven track record of negotiating high-value, complex master service agreements (MSAs) and service level agreements (SLAs). You will proactively lead a portfolio of multi-million-dollar contracts, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk
  • -Analytical Mindset - strong forecasting, budgeting, and data-analysis skills. You will conduct a detailed spend analysis using your expertise in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
  • -Communication - exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence both external partners and internal executives. You will partner with business leaders across the company to align on their needs and drive strategic outcomes
  • -Pricing Analysis Expertise - demonstrated experience building and maintaining supplier price comparison models, cost-per-unit breakdowns, and pricing dashboards
  • -Negotiation Track Record- specific, quantifiable examples of price reductions or favorable terms won through data-driven negotiation
What We Offer
  • -Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
  • - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits; 401(K); paid time off
  • - Opportunities to work on highly creative, industry-leading physical products
  • - A dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced work environment
