Job description

Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration and construction industry, is seeking a Construction Project Manager in the Metro Detroit area.
Construction Project Manager Compensation and Benefits:
  • $85K or more DOE, plus performance-based bonuses

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the project cycle for rebuilding projects. This includes providing direction and coordination of all field activities and any coordinated subcontracts, managing the project schedule throughout the project lifecycle, and securing any unique materials, permits, and/or equipment required to complete the project.
Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Ability to manage residential remodeling projects
  • Plan, organize, and manage crews and subcontractors
  • Participate in design, process, and permit submittal
  • Establish and maintain client relationships
  • Complete monthly expense reports
  • Attend all appropriate company meetings
  • Attend regular company-sponsored training sessions
  • Additional duties required as needed
  • Track job budgets, communicate job status, and provide written reports
  • Monitor production progress daily and on-site inspections
  • Provide superior customer service as the point of contact for the customer and/or adjustor
  • Assign projects to crew members and complete all appropriate paperwork and written instructions daily

Construction Project Manager Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience as a project manager
  • Ability to manage budgets and schedules
  • Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills (detail-oriented person)
  • Ability to recognize and solve problems independently
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, responsible and accountable
  • Xactimate knowledge a plus but not required
  • Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record
