As a Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) at Recovery Centers of America (RCA), you will be an integral part of the patient care team, providing direct support to individuals in treatment for substance use disorders. As a Recovery Support Specialist at RCA, you will:
- Monitor and supportpatient activities, ensuring safety through regular checks and observations.
- Engage directlywith patients,facilitatingtherapeutic interactions, group sessions, and scheduled activities.
- Assistwith admissions and discharges, includingprocessingbelongings, documentation, and patient orientation.
- Support crisis interventionthrough verbal de-escalation and against-advice interventions.
- Facilitate patient movementwithin the facility andassistin coordinating attendance for clinical and medical appointments.
- Maintainaccuratedocumentationof patient interactions, safety checks, and incidents.

- Ahigh school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experiencein addiction services or behavioral health preferred.
- Strongorganizational skillsand the ability toprioritize tasksin a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity withbehavior modification techniquesand12-step recovery principles.
