Job Summary
We are looking for individuals to join our client's team as Application Technician. The open position is for the Optical Critical Dimensions/Integrated Metrology/Virtual Metrology team, specifically focusing on recipe setup, recipe troubleshooting, internal customer support, and daily tool qualification. You will need to provide "sustaining" support to the OCD/IM/VM area to help product movement through the factory. Optical Critical Dimension and Thin Film measurements are critical measurements for device performance and quality, so your contribution will be counted on. Metrology engineers and experienced application technicians will train you step by step so please be a part of our fun and exciting team!
Job Description
  • Tool Health and Maintenance: Perform daily qualifications to verify the health of our tools and ensure they are running smoothly.
  • Troubleshooting: Monitor production trends, investigate any abnormalities, and escalate issues to engineers and management as needed. You'll also troubleshoot measurement issues for AFM, OCD, and Integrated Metrology tools.
  • Recipe Management: Set up new recipes for devices and engineering data collection, and perform tool-to-tool matching (TTTM) activities.
  • Data Analysis: Summarize experimental results using tools like Excel, Spotfire, or JMP to provide clear insights.
  • Collaboration: Work with multiple metrology engineers on a variety of projects and create or write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to help eliminate training gaps.
  • Continuous Improvement: Be a self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to enhance processes and minimize mistakes.
Skills Required
  • Log data accurately and promptly for all assignments
  • Document and communicate all process activities for the shift during pass down -Monitor parameters and manage tools
  • Disposition non-conforming material, identify abnormal conditions, their root causes, and determine corrective actions to reduce variation or prevent recurrence
  • Maintain-Assist engineering with experiments
  • Maintain integrity of process SOPs
  • Semiconductor or high volume manufacturing experience preferred but not required -Solid working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Microsoft Word and Excel
Education/Training/Certifications
  • 2 year college degree, technical school certification or equivalent military experience required
Additional Requirements
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM; Thurs, Fri, Sat (Wed)
Pay Rate
  • $23-$26 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors
