What are the 5 skills of a receptionist?

A receptionist needs strong communication skills to interact effectively with visitors and staff, organizational skills to manage appointments and records, customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally, multitasking ability to handle various responsibilities simultaneously, and technical skills to operate office equipment and software. These skills help ensure smooth front-desk operations and positive first impressions.

Strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with office software like Microsoft Office are important. Some positions may require previous customer service experience or familiarity with phone systems.
