As an Administrative Assistant this position provides a wide range of administrative/clerical support for the Community and the Executive Director, answer phone calls, maintain organization in the office area and greet visitors to the Community. As the Administrative Assistant, you report to the Executive Director.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING:
* High School diploma or equivalent desired
* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
* Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
* Must function independently, demonstrating flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents and families, community referral sources, and Community staff.
* Must have patience, positive disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult situations.
* Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
* Must possess a current drivers license and have a clean driving record that meets PMMA insurance coverage standards.
