Job Description
We are hosting a social business showcase for international ventures on Wednesday, May 25, 2016! This event will be held at the beautiful, Galvanize Space in Historic Pioneer Square. Technical assistants will help with the event logistics and audio/video support. We are looking for someone, who is energetic, meticulous, thorough, punctual and, most importantly has an appreciation for and dedication to delivering an outstanding event experience for all guests.
Responsibilities:
  • Setup and troubleshoot audio/video equipment for the event (projectors, wired microphones, speakers, wireless devices).
  • Setup event space per event requirements (arrange tables, chairs, podiums, reception space).
  • Monitor stage and equipment safety procedures, checklists, and systems.
  • Secure all equipment after events.

Qualifications
  • Prior experience working on the technical aspect at the events.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve audio/video and equipment related issues.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.

Additional Information
This is an unpaid volunteer position.

4-5 hours on the day of the event
