Job description

Starting Pay: $59,700 to $77,700 per year

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday (7am - 4:30pm)

Position Summary Description:

Manage and coordinate inbound inventory and replenishment activities to support operational efficiency and ensure Distribution Center readiness for nightly order fulfillment operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate inbound inventory receiving and replenishment operations to ensure timely processing and readiness of the Distribution Center for evening order-picking activities.
  • Oversee employees in the proper handling, care, preservation, storage, and shipment of inventory to ensure product quality and operational accuracy.
  • Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures in the Receiving department.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to investigate and resolve inventory and stock control discrepancies by tracing item histories, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
  • Provides training to and serves as back up to the Receiving Coordinator.
  • Performs similar and related duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
  • Utilizes the Companyโ€™s Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle employee supervision responsibilities including: interviewing, hiring, training, work assignment delegation, assessing and evaluating employee performance, employee coaching and counseling, addressing complaints and resolving issues.

Direct Reports include: Receiving Coordinators, Receivers, Downstackers

Qualifications:

Education/Training and Experience

Associateโ€™s Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or:

Three years of food service or warehousing experience.

At least one year in a supervisory capacity.
