DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you are responsible for efficient material movement within the facility, supporting production teams. This includes receiving and verifying materials, distributing components, and managing work-in-progress (WIP) inventory. You prepare kits for work orders, identify shortages, and handle inventory management through cycle counts and ERP/WMS updates. Additionally, you prepare shipments, verify documentation, and collaborate with logistics to ensure timely deliveries. Maintaining a clean, safe workspace and adhering to OSHA and quality standards is essential.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of warehouse or manufacturing experience
  • Forklift certified or the ability to become certified
  • A strong understanding of basic computer systems and ERP/WMS functionality
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement environments
  • Knowledge of raw material and finished goods handling specific to your industry (metalworking, plastics, electronics, food production, etc.)
  • Experience with shipping software (UPS/FedEx/Logistics systems)
