We are looking for a Receiving Clerk to support our team out of our Cincinnati, OH Location.

Job Summary

With this role the employee is responsible for verifying the accuracy of components and accurately receiving the parts into our ERP system. In addition, this person is responsible for helping with discrepant component material & incoming RMAs. The employee will learn other areas of the Inventory team (packaging, shipping, inventory control). We will provide training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive all incoming product using ERP system (manufacturing software).
  • Receipt of all customer RMAs.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Receives and processes all defective parts returned for replacement of credit.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows all safety regulations.
  • Represents LSI Industries in the most positive manner with prospective, current and former employees, clients, suppliers and the community we serve.
  • Interact professionally and effectively with diverse group of employees and customers.
  • Learn and practices standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain prompt and regular attendance based on the work hours established by management.
  • Handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Pervious experience preferred.
  • Basic Math and English skills.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma and/or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with 5S methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Previous shipping experience is required
  • Candidate does not need to be an expert, although that would be preferred
  • Must be comfortable working within inventory and shipping systems efficiently
