Description
AC4S LLC is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist who will Manages packaging and shipping of IT equipment to overseas posts and domestic locations under CA and Diplomatic Security standards and 14 FAM. Ships equipment with lead time sufficient for receipt at least two weeks ahead of scheduled installation. Reviews bills of lading and packing lists during receipt and inspection, forwarding receipt documents to the COR and applicable GTM. Inspects each item visually for conformity, damage, or prior usage, recording discrepancies on a Non-Conformance Log. Produces the Shipping Exception Report within three business days when shipping discrepancies occur. Coordinates with the DOS pouch facility for foreign shipments and dispatches and tracks pouch shipments through ILMS. Ships received back-order hardware within ten business days of receipt. Maintains records transferring responsibility and accountability for equipment to the receiving post upon delivery.

Class I - Electric Motor Rider Trucks - OSHA Class I Powered Industrial Truck Operator
Powered by large industrial batteries; quiet, used indoors.
Common in warehouses, food storage, and clean environments.
Certification covers battery operation, stability, and indoor safety OSHA Education Center.

Experience and Skills
  • Processed inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate receiving, packing, labeling, and timely dispatch of products.
  • Verified shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Operated forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to safely move, load, and unload materials.
  • Maintained accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and performed routine cycle counts.
  • Prepared shipping documentation, coordinated with carriers, and ensured all shipments met company and customer requirements.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree - 6 or more years of relevant education/work experience. OR Master of Arts/Master of Science with 4+ years of experience.

Physical Requirements
  • Footwear: Steel-toe boots or steel-toe protective shoes are required at all times while performing warehouse duties or handling IT equipment.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move IT equipment and boxed assets weighing a minimum of 40 pounds. Occasional lifting of items above this weight may be required with proper team-lift procedures.
  • Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday, including walking between storage areas, staging zones, and inventory stations.
  • Bending, Stooping, and Reaching: Regular bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching to access shelves, pallet racks, and inventory locations.
  • Pushing and Pulling: Ability to push or pull carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment used to transport IT assets within the warehouse environment.
  • Manual Dexterity: Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to safely unbox, label, scan, connect, and prepare IT hardware and accessories.
  • Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in a warehouse setting with variable temperatures, concrete flooring, and active movement of equipment and personnel. May require use of basic PPE such as gloves or safety glasses depending on task.
  • Equipment Operation (if applicable): Ability to safely operate non-powered material handling equipment (e.g., carts, dollies, pallet jacks). No forklift operation is assumed unless separately certified and required.
