Pyramid Foods Team Objective
Pyramid Foods believes in supporting our local communities and is dedicated to providing our customers and employees quality food and service at the best prices! In this friendly, flexible team environment, you will play an important role in helping us to provide outstanding service in a clean and friendly atmosphere. Your role is check in merchandise received and invoiced to the store.
Daily Operations
  • Maintaining exceptional customer service for all clientele
  • Adhering to "Meet and Greet" policies
  • Ensuring that the backroom is secure, and the doors are locked when unattended
  • Checking in merchandise and verifying the product invoiced is accounted for
  • Using forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks
  • Maintaining and cleaning the back room keeping everything organized
  • Staying up to date with the latest product knowledge

Company Standards
  • Learning and maintaining adequate training for receiving
  • Turning in all paperwork in a timely manner to the Store Director
  • Maintaining an honest ethical relationship with team members, vendors, and suppliers
  • Complying with all company policies including following dress code and wearing name tag.

Basic Functions and Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products. Must have dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use. Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes.
This is medium work requiring good, corrected vision, hearing, lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
