JOB DESCRIPTION
Front desk attendants are the first impression of the Recreation Center. They are responsible for controlling access to the rec center while providing a high level of quality customer service (i.e. - greeting and providing program information). They need to be knowledgeable in the activities, events of the rec center in order to inform participants. They are also responsible for checking in/out recreation equipment, acting as a resource, answering telephones, enforcing the rules and regulations of the rec center, and any additional tasks that may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • A positive attitude, passion for serving others, and enthusiasm are required.
  • Adherence to the Colorado Mesa University Recreation Center employee handbook (which holds uniform guidelines, staff policies, expected behaviors and duties) is required.
  • Attend all trainings, monthly staff meetings and other such specified requirements.
  • Check email and voice messages frequently and respond promptly.
