We are a growing, fast-paced property management office located in Farmington Hills, MI seeking a full time Maintenance crew member. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dependable, self-motivated and highly organized. The applicant will support local managers and employees on daily tasks as needed.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidates must be honest, dependable and self-motivated. At least 2 years of experience, a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or GED is required for this position. You must have a reliable form of transportation and the ability to pass a background check. You must be authorized to work anywhere in the US.
JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Electrical work
  • Plumbing
  • Mechanical (heating and cooling)
  • Grounds and general maintenance
  • Mulching and maintaining flower beds
  • Leaf removal
  • Must know how to operate and maintain lawn equipment (leaf blowers, mowers, weed whacker)
  • Mowing, weeding, edging and trimming
  • Responding to emergency requests
  • Perform repair of buildings and equipment
  • Assist with the renovation/remodeling of trailers
  • Maintain record of scheduled services
  • On call for emergency situations
  • Various others as deemed necessary

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
