Job description

RFP Homes is looking for an Acquisitions Agent to source and secure off‑market and distressed investment properties throughout the Dallas‑Fort Worth market. You’ll work directly with wholesalers, real estate agents, investors, property owners, and other lead sources to identify opportunities and negotiate contracts that meet the needs of our investor clients.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of real estate experience and an active Texas real estate license, with a proven ability to build relationships, generate opportunities, analyze investment properties, and negotiate successful transactions. This is not an entry‑level position. We are looking for someone who can step directly into an acquisitions role and contribute from day one.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Source off‑market investment properties through wholesalers, real estate agents, investors, referrals, and other lead generation channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals while identifying opportunities that align with investor demand and company acquisition goals.
  • Analyze investment opportunities, review comparable sales, estimate repair costs, and negotiate purchase agreements.
  • Manage opportunities throughout the acquisition process while maintaining strong communication and professionalism with all parties involved.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records within Salesforce CRM, including contacts, opportunities, negotiations, and contracted properties.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Dallas‑Fort Worth investment market, investor demand, and RFP Homes’ acquisition strategies.
  • Represent RFP Homes with professionalism, market knowledge, and integrity in all interactions.
  • Minimum 3 years of real estate acquisitions experience required
  • Experience sourcing, analyzing, negotiating, and contracting investment properties.
  • Strong understanding of real estate investing, wholesaling, brokerage, or investment property transactions.
  • Ownership of, or strong interest in, pursuing real estate investment properties.
  • Salesforce or comparable CRM software experience preferred.
  • Driven, competitive, and confident with a strong desire to succeed and exceed acquisition targets.
  • Positive attitude, accountability, and ability to thrive in a commission‑based environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.

The Acquisitions Agent role is 100% commission‑based with unlimited earning potential. Top‑performing Acquisitions Agents can earn $400,000+ annually.
