Real Estate Loan Processor

We're looking for a detail-oriented and member-focused Real Estate Loan Processor to join our team. In this role, you'll help guide mortgage loans from application to closing by ensuring loan files are complete, accurate, and processed efficiently. Your work will play a vital role in creating a smooth lending experience for our members while supporting Clearwater's mortgage operations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Gather information and receive loan files from Real Estate Lending Officers.
- Validate application information and data within internal systems.
- Ensure loan files and supporting documentation are complete and compliant with lending requirements.
- Order appraisals, title commitments, income verifications, and other required information and documentation.
- Work closely with Real Estate Lending Officers, underwriters, members, and third-party vendors to resolve questions, discrepancies, and outstanding items.
- Assemble and analyze borrower information for submission to underwriting.
- Review third-party documentation to support the loan request.
- Update loan information, including Loan Estimates, when changes occur during the loan process.
- Prepare and review closing loan documents to include balancing of the closing disclosure with title.
- Review closing packages for completeness and accuracy.
- Disburse approved loans.
- Maintain knowledge of Clearwater's products and services while staying current on regulatory requirements and industry changes.
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external members throughout the lending process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two to five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with staff, members, and vendors.
