The Business Development Director - Real Estate is a senior, marketfacing role responsible for originating new real estate business on a national basis across EisnerAmper's full platform of professional services, including audit, tax, advisory, consulting, outsourcing, and real estate fund administration.

This role is designed to drive sustained growth across the Real Estate practice by developing new client relationships, expanding EisnerAmper's presence with priority real estate targets, and partnering closely with Real Estate leadership to shape and execute the firm's gotomarket strategy. The role is explicitly focused on new business origination and strategic growth.

While the role operates nationally, there is a strong preference for someone to be based in South Florida and/or New York, reflecting EisnerAmper's strategic real estate footprint and growth priorities in both markets.

The Real Estate Business Development Director operates across the full real estate lifecycle-often described internally as "Dirt to Cash"-serving owners, operators, developers, investors, funds, and platforms from acquisition and development through operations, financing, recapitalization, and exit.

This position is intended for a seasoned real estate rainmaker with national credibility, deep industry relationships, and the ability to engage confidently with CFOs and Csuite executives across the commercial real estate ecosystem.

What work you will be responsible for:New Business Origination & Strategic Target Development - 70%
  • Originate new real estate business from EisnerAmper's most strategically important national targets.

  • Build and maintain seniorlevel relationships with CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and executive decisionmakers across the real estate ecosystem.

  • Drive new client acquisition across segments including, but not limited to:

    • Real estate owners, developers, and operators

    • Private equity and institutional real estate funds

    • Real estate investment platforms and family offices

    • REITs and complex ownership structures

  • Lead complex, multiservice pursuits from initial relationship development through close, in close collaboration with technical and service line leaders.

  • Achieve annual new business production goals aligned with national Real Estate growth priorities.

Discretionary Leadership & Strategic Impact - 30%
  • Partner with Real Estate leadership as a senior commercial advisor, helping influence gotomarket strategy, target prioritization, and strategic business development initiatives.

  • Support and mentor junior and emerging Real Estate partners through business development coaching, deal strategy input, and pursuit guidance.

  • Serve as a visible industry leader and ambassador for EisnerAmper by:

    • Speaking at national and regional real estate conferences, panels, and industry events

    • Participating in key real estate associations, councils, and industry forums

    • Networking with key third parties and alliances

    • Contributing to thought leadership that enhances EisnerAmper's brand, credibility, and market profile within the real estate ecosystem

  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insight, and strategic perspective to Real Estate and Business Development leadership.

  • Contribute to strategic BD campaigns aligned with priority real estate subsectors across the "Dirt to Cash" lifecycle.

Engagement Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead or support client meetings, pitch presentations, pricing discussions, and negotiation of engagement terms as appropriate.

  • Translate complex real estate business and financial issues into integrated EisnerAmper solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with Audit, Tax, Advisory, Consulting, Outsourcing, and Fund Services leaders to position the firm effectively.

  • Represent EisnerAmper as a senior ambassador within the national real estate community.

Sales Management & Internal Leadership
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM documentation.

  • Partner closely with the National Head of Business Development and Real Estate leadership to ensure alignment with firmwide growth objectives and execution standards.

  • Operate with professionalism, rigor, and accountability consistent with seniorlevel BD expectations.


Basic qualifications:
  • 10+ years of demonstrated Real Estate business development/expansion experience- preferably in a professional services firm

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business or a related field

Preferred qualifications:
  • Is a recognized dealmaker within the national real estate ecosystem.

  • Brings deep, active relationships across multiple real estate subsectors.

  • Is clearly newbusinessoriented, not an account manager.

  • Elevates the firm's profile through industry leadership and external visibility.

  • Adds value through strategic insight, mentoring, and selective client engagement.

  • Operates with credibility, commercial rigor, and executive presence.
