Real Estate Associate Attorney

Chicago, Illinois

A premier Chicago-based legal practice is seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its growing transactional real estate team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated attorney who enjoys working on sophisticated real estate matters and collaborating with clients on high-profile transactions across a variety of asset classes.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, joint ventures, and commercial financings. This role offers direct client interaction, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to work alongside highly accomplished attorneys in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities
  • Structure, negotiate, and close a wide range of commercial real estate transactions
  • Draft and review purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, financing documents, leases, and related transactional documents
  • Conduct due diligence and assist clients in evaluating transactional risks and opportunities
  • Advise clients throughout the lifecycle of acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, and financing transactions
  • Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and client service
  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
