About the Role:
Rainbow International of Cincinnati is looking for a motivated Water Mitigation Apprentice to join our growing restoration team in Fairfield, OH. This is a hands-on opportunity to launch your career in the restoration industry, learning from experienced professionals while making a real difference for customers in their time of need.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior technicians with water damage mitigation and structural drying processes
  • Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters
  • Perform water extraction from affected residential and commercial properties
  • Document job site conditions, equipment placement, and moisture readings
  • Assist with removal of damaged materials such as drywall, flooring, and insulation
  • Maintain and clean company equipment and vehicles
  • Communicate professionally with customers on-site throughout the restoration process
Requirements:
  • No prior experience required — willingness to learn and grow in the restoration field is a must
  • Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, kneeling, and working in confined spaces
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Strong work ethic with a team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • IICRC certification training opportunities available — eagerness to obtain certifications preferred
