Description
Nuvitek is seeking a mid-level Technical Recruiter to support and execute end-to-end recruiting efforts for technical roles. This role is responsible for managing the recruiting lifecycle, building strong talent pipelines, and partnering with hiring managers to help hire high-quality talent.

This is a 1099 contractor position expected to work approximately 30–35 hours per week. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about delivering a strong candidate experience while supporting hiring initiatives in a fast-paced environment.


What You Will Do
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical roles from intake through offer stage
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and team priorities
  • Source and engage technical talent using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and other sourcing channels
  • Conduct candidate screenings to assess skills, experience, and role alignment
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication throughout the hiring process
  • Present qualified candidates and interview feedback to hiring managers in a timely manner
  • Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), specifically Pinpoint
  • Utilize Jira to track recruiting workflows, hiring progress, task management, and recruiting coordination activities
  • Support recruiting process improvements and workflow efficiencies within Pinpoint and recruiting operations
  • Track recruiting activity, pipeline health, and hiring progress
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Recruit for government contracting and federal support roles while ensuring alignment with compliance and hiring requirements
  • Stay informed on recruiting trends, market conditions, and technical hiring best practices


What You Will Bring
  • 3+ years of experience recruiting for technical or technology-focused roles
  • Experience supporting government contracting or federal hiring environments
  • Experience managing multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong sourcing skills across LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and passive outreach
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Pinpoint
  • Experience using Jira for workflow tracking, task management, or recruiting coordination
  • Ability to manage recruiting workflows, candidate tracking, and interview coordination within an ATS
  • Understanding of recruiting processes related to government contracting, including compliance and documentation requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong follow-up and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
