Maintenance Supervisor

$500 Sign on Bonus $1,500 Retention Bonus Available


The Details: Our Maintenance Supervisors oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations. They ensure that the asset is maintained, they motivate and ensures the maintenance team is positive and successful. 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Directing & supervising maintenance team in regards to performance, job duties, and scheduling
  • Portray excellent customer service while working with residents
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various issues including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, sheet rock, etc.
  • Monitor and replenish maintenance inventory based on property needs, while staying within budget
  • Complete on-going property and unit inspections as needed, in addition to documenting updates and areas for improvement
  • Coordinate with various vendors as needed in regards to outsourced work at the property 
  • Ensure that maintenance teams deliver Safe, Decent and Sanitary Housing to all our residents

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS for consideration are:

  • High School diploma or equivalent,(College Degree is preferred)
  • Minimum of three years as a Lead Maintenance Tech 
  • Working Knowledge of Onsite or Yardi Software
  • English language proficiency (read, speak and write)
  • The ability to pass a full background check
  • Reliable transportation

Additional preferred requirements for Affordable Housing properties: Experience in apartment maintenance, participated in UPCS/REAC Inspections and have experience with resident occupied project renovations. 

Additional Information:

  • The work schedule is Monday-Friday
  • Must be available for after hour calls including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle is required
  • Employment with Monroe Group is contingent upon the successful completion of background check ***
