Responsibilities
  • Independently research and identify the necessary requirements for creating log ins for various insurance payers. Create access for both support and practice team members to facilitate efficient payment processing and access to patient benefit information.
  • Identify gaps in posting automation and initiate new enrollments to transition from paper checks and manual EOBs to EFT/ERA transactions.
  • Investigate inaccuracies or misses in automated systems and develop rules to improve automation rates.
  • Assist with various claims and payment projects assigned by the Insurance Manager.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills including: Google Suite, MS Office, Excel

Desirables
  • Basic banking and accounting skills, strong website navigation skills, knowledge of ERA/EFT and insurance portal enrollment processes
  • Moderate Microsoft Excel, advanced knowledge of insurance portal login creation
