Job Description

This Electrical Engineer role focuses on designing and developing electrical systems for a variety of projects, including lighting and lighting control systems, low and medium voltage power distribution, and control systems for mechanical and refrigeration applications. You will contribute as a key member of multidisciplinary design teams, preparing detailed drawings and specifications while collaborating closely with other engineering disciplines and project managers. Responsibilities

  • Participate as an active member of design teams to develop electrical system solutions for diverse projects.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for lighting and lighting control systems.
  • Design low and medium voltage power distribution systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
  • Perform load calculations and other engineering analyses to size equipment and validate system performance.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Architectural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering Technology (BSEE, BSEET, BSAE, or BSAET).
  • 3 to 7 years of experience designing electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for electrical design and drafting.
  • Hands-on experience with the design of power distribution systems, including low and medium voltage.
  • Experience with lighting and lighting control system design.
  • Ability to perform electrical load calculations and related engineering analyses.
  • Understanding of structured cabling and low-voltage systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
