Job description

The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, in Fayetteville, AR, is seeking a full-time, board certified, Gastroenterologist . We are fully committed to providing top quality medical care by serving and honoring America’s Veterans. 

Highlights of this opportunity:

  • Potential starting base salary range: $ 300-$400K
  • Permanent full-time position
  • Daily schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Sign on Bonus for highly qualified applicants
  • Student Loan repayment

Duties include:

  • Histories and physicals on admission
  • Progress notes
  • Screening patients for endoscopy/colonoscopy procedures
  • Seeing patients in Gastroenterology outpatient clinic in collaboration with the supervising physician and according to the parameters of the scope of practice.
  • Performing Endoscopy/Colonoscopy
  • No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
