Position Overview

The Human Resources Generalist ensures the efficient and compliant execution of day-to-day HR processes across the employee lifecycle. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, supporting employees and managers with routine HR needs, administering benefits and leave programs, records management, companywide event planning and is the primary owner of HRIS (Paycom) data integrity. This position plays a critical role in delivering a consistent, organized, and employee-focused HR experience while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company requirements

Not only will you work in a collaborative environment that values an individual’s opinions and suggestions, you will also work in an environment that recognizes employees work very hard and rewards them with fun activities. To list all of our activities would take a long time, but here’s a few: cornhole tournaments, minute-to-win-it tournaments, potlucks galore, and a holiday company party. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Execute all onboarding, offboarding and employee lifecycle activities
  • Facilitate and drive full-cycle recruiting from sourcing to onboarding  
  • Execute monthly events and annual holiday party for employee engagement
  • Administer recognition and service award programs
  • Administer all benefit programs and employee benefit orientation
  • Maintain HRIS (Paycom) data integrity and system optimization
  • Administer leave programs & workers compensation
  • Maintain compliance with federal/state laws, policies and safety practices.
  • Partner with leaders to implement HR strategies that support organizational goals.
  • Facilitate safety consultant management
  • Address employee concerns and guide managers on performance and workplace matters
  • Prepare payroll data and backup as needed
  • Update Employee SharePoint website
Qualifications: What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years’ experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong experience with Paycom or similar HRIS/payroll system required
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance regulations
  • Bonus Points for: SHRM-CP, SCHRM SCP or PHR Certification
