JOB PURPOSE
Golf Service Attendant is responsible for the daily golf operations. Primary responsibilities including but not limited to; member/guest customer service. Staging and storing member golf bags and push/electric carts. Assist with golf cart daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and maintenance. Driving range responsibilities including driving the picker, hand picking range balls, cleaning the range balls, stocking and storing driving range supplies and equipment. Clean and care for members golf clubs. Maintaining short game areas on the golf course.
Outdoor Golf Operations
  • Greet each member and guest at arrival while projecting a positive attitude and professionalism.
  • Understand and respond to all member and guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Be knowledgeable and promote events at the Club, course conditions, course maintenance, events in progress and any information that will be helpful to members and guests.
  • Assist each member and guest by loading bags, cleaning clubs and preparing golfers for play ensuring all their needs are met and questions answered.
  • Assist in making sure all cart barn, bag room, cart storage and driving range responsibilities have been fulfilled as needed
  • Approach all members and guests at the end of their round, to clean their clubs and assist them in returning their carts and clubs
  • Maintain a clean and organized golf cart/golf club staging area outside of the golf shop and below
  • Stage golf carts for use and return while maintaining cleanliness of the outside and inside of the golf carts.
  • Set up, closing and maintenance of the driving range including restocking range balls and accessories, operating the ball picker and cleaning the range balls
  • Assist with tournament procedures
  • Participate as a team member and assist fellow employees
Knowledge/Experience
  • Golf and/or guest service experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized with ability to multi-task.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of game of golf.
Physical
  • Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
  • Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Continuous repetitive motions.
  • Work in hot, humid, and noisy environment.
Hours and Compensation:
  • Compensation: $18.70 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience
  • This is an part-time hourly non-exempt position
  • We have Open, Mid, and Late shifts. We’re looking for someone who has flexible availability as our shifts start at 5am and run through evening depending on the time of year.
