Description
Staff Management | SMX is immediately hiring experienced CNC Operators for a leading Metal Fabrication Company. Associates receive Weekly Paychecks, Medical and Dental Benefits on day one, and much more! This is a long-term position with a great company! We have a punctual attendance policy for the first 30 days.
  • Shift Information: Rotating 12 hours shifts, 5:50pm - 6:00am

Job Responsibilities
  • Start and stop equipment to run production.
  • Identify product and shop orders to ensure proper jobs are being ran.
  • Properly report scrap and labor information using written, as well as electronic data collection devices.
  • Select correct containerization for parts being produced.
  • Participate in problem solving activities.
  • Adjust equipment to obtain part specification per process sheets and maintain within control limits.
  • Perform TPM and prepare equipment for preventative maintenance.

  • Position requires high school diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience as a CNC operator is required.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic math skills Perform all inspection functions per written procedure.
  • Identify product to ensure proper jobs being ran.
  • Collaborate with team members and Team Leads to identify improvements.
  • Ability to work every other weekend and overtime as needed.
  • Must pass BG/DT.
  • 6 months manufacturing or warehouse experience required
