The Line Cook ensures their assigned station is organized, properly stocked, and operating efficiently while contributing to a culture of professionalism, accountability, and culinary excellence. Every dish prepared reflects the standards and reputation of Honest Hospitality Talent.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and execute menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Follow prep lists, production schedules, and par levels accurately
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and readiness of assigned station at all times
  • Ensure proper food storage, labeling, dating, and rotation (FIFO)
  • Monitor food quality, taste, temperature, and presentation before service
  • Communicate station deficiencies, product shortages, or equipment issues to Leadership promptly
  • Support opening and closing procedures for each service period
  • Assist fellow team members as needed to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Adhere to all sanitation, food safety, and health department regulations
