Title: Sr. Cloud Engineer, Product Technology

Description:
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Terraform, Helm Charts, scripting and cloud networking, particularly Azure vNet. This role involves designing, implementing, maintaining scalable and secure Azure cloud infrastructure solutions to support our business operations, with a strong focus on automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines. Requires an individual who can take ownership of cloud solutions and drive operational excellence through automation and modern DevOps practices.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline creation, automation, and management.
• Implement and manage container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
• Develop and maintain Helm Charts for application deployment and management.
• Use Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• Configure and manage Azure Virtual Networks (vNet) and other cloud networking components.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, cost, and security.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cloud computing and DevOps.
• Ensure compliance with security and performance best practices across all cloud environments.
 
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and platform management.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer or similar role.
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of Helm Charts for Kubernetes application management.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, PowerShell to automate cloud operations and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployments and enhance system reliability.
• Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• In-depth understanding of Azure Virtual Networks (vNet) and cloud networking principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Manage source control and versioning using Git
 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, AZ-104, AZ-400, or similar).
• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
• Familiarity with additional DevOps tools and practices.
